Tamira is the former director of the National Association of Climate Resilience Planners, Capacity Building Director at People’s Climate Innovation Center, Program Design Advisor to the Justice40 Accelerator, and Public Funding Specialist at Earth Island Institute. Tamira’s passion is in scaling projects and programs, facilitating community-driven planning and equity in practice, and supporting land conservation and public access. Tamira grew up in Mendocino County and developed many of the trails and beach access points along the coast as part of the California Coastal Trail while at Mendocino Land Trust. Tamira has served as a Steering Member of the National Network of Fiscal Sponsors, Advisor to the National Food Systems Leadership Network, the National Food Policy Network, and the American Youth Services Fund, which resources disadvantaged youth to get outside. Tamira brings over 25 years experience in organizational change management and scaling movement infrastructure.
